A Loving Tribute
In the spring of 2023, PlaidyBus began as a quirky and colorful plaid school bus: A Vehicle for Creativity. It rumbled, it rattled, it turned heads and carried the party everywhere we dared to go. That bus was our first canvas and a perpetual work in progress. It held our supplies, our messes, our masterpieces and our magic. It was where creativity spilled out into the world, one stop at a time.
When the bus was lost to a fire in November of 2025, it felt like the entire foundation of this business had collapsed. And in a way, it had. But also, it hadn’t. Because the truth is, what makes PlaidyBus special has never been the bus. It's the spirit: the art, the celebration, the experiences and memories with family and friends. It’s you! I am incredibly grateful for everyone who gathered on that bus. It truly was a magical space because of you!

What now?
Today, we’re still on the move. We pop up, we set up, we transform your space into a temporary art studio. While the original Vehicle for Creativity may no longer be with us, we still Celebrate Creatively everywhere we go!
Will there be other manifestations of PlaidyBus in the future? Maybe. Probably. What I do know is that the bus was just the beginning.
So here’s to the bus: the first studio, a vision on wheels, a beautiful, chaotic start. And here’s to everything we’re still creating, wherever we land next. We hope to meet many new friends and brighten many days along the way!
